  • Sheila Bridges

    Sheila Bridges, CEO

    Sheila Bridges is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Muskegon Family Care, a multi- million dollar healthcare facility in Muskegon, Michigan. She has earned her associates, bachelor's and master's degree and currently working on her doctorate. Her career with Muskegon Family Care spans a decade and includes mergers, acquisitions and multiple building expansions with the organization. Ms. Bridges financially moved the organization out of the red into the black where the organization remains today. Her latest development project is the construction of the Bridges to Wellness Center located on the property of Muskegon Family Care; paid for free and clear without securing a conventional loan or acquiring a grant. Muskegon Family Care is a federally qualified health center that provides medical, dental, behavioral health, maternal/infant support program, lab services, an on-site pharmacy, centering for pregnancy program, outreach services, dietitians, transportation and various other patient driven services; located at 2201 South Getty Street, Muskegon, MI 49444 (231) 739-9315. Ms. Bridges plans to incorporate physical therapy, optometry and school-based services into MFC's existing robust model. She is thankful for MFC's patients, staff, Board of Directors and supportive community members. All are welcome irrespective to their ability to pay.

  • Angela Richards, Dental Hygienist

    A graduate of Grand Rapids Community College, Angela worked as a Dental Assistant for Muskegon Family Care dental clinic while completing hygiene school. She enjoy's traveling, camping, going to the beach and sports. She has two sons. Angela enjoys helping people feel better about themselves and creating beautiful smiles. She says, "teaching people is the main key to patient compliance."

  • Benjamin Dorotinsky, M.D., Physician

    Dr. Dorotinsky received his Medical Degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He specializes in family medicine and joined Muskegon Family Care early in 2008. He was raised in Southeast Michigan and enjoys outdoor activities like skiing, hiking, and camping. Dr. Dorotinsky says he enjoys all aspects of Family Medicine, and appreciates the opportunity to share his experience and knowledge with all those who can benefit from it in the tradition of Muskegon Family Care.

  • Bill Ulrich, PA-C, Physician Assistant

    Bill is the provider who has been at the Getty Street Clinic for the longest time. For the past 25 years he has worked at this inner city clinic caring for low-income and uninsured families, and at times when the clinic was struggling (under Dr. Dale Williams) Bill worked without a paycheck! He was voted the National Inner City PA of the Year in 1999. Bill graduated with his B.S. from University of Michigan, his M.S. from Wayne State University and his B.S. in Allied Health (PA Training) from Mercy College in Detroit. Bill has been married for 25 years, has three sons in college and one son still in middle school.

    Carole is a registered nurse and has been working for the Maternal Infant Health Program since 2007. She received her degree from Muskegon Community College. Carole is passionate about supporting and educating families, promoting and advocating for better health/better access for the most vulnerable in our community. She enjoys spending time with her family & friends, reading, volunteering at church related outreach, singing, and coffee! She resides in Muskegon County with her husband and 3 children. Carole enjoys working for Muskegon Family Care because she gets to touch lives every day.

  • David Jaracz, DDS

    Dr. Jaracz was born and raised in Grand Rapids and currently lives in Canton, Mi.  He received his Bachelor of Schience (1983) and Doctor of Dental Surgery (1989) degrees from  the University of Michigan.  He is married, has one son, and enjoys sports and landscaping.  Dr. Jaracz states, "Every patient deserves to have the same quality care regardless of ability to pay.  I have worked in community health clinics for 14 years in my dental career.  I feel very good about working and serving this population, because whithout clinics like this, these patients woul go without care.




    Deborah received her Master's Degree in Agency Counseling form Michigan State University and is a registered social worker.  Since 1995 she has assisted Muskegon Family Care patients, staff and community members with probelm solving and resources; promoted healthy lifestyle changes; and provided follow-up for children with ADHD and adults with significant depression.  Deborah's previous experience has included working as a family counselor in a substance abuse treatment center, serving as adjunct faculty at a community college, and presenting workshops on stress management and personal growth.  Deborah is dedicated to the clinic's mission to bring hope and health to our patients by compassionately treating the body, mind, and spirit.



































  • Dennis Palmer, PA-C, Physician Assistant

  • Donnie R. Jones, Therapist

    Donnie was born and raised in Muskegon, Michigan, where he graduated from Muskegon Senior High School in 1976.  Donnie subsequently attended Michigan State University and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work in 1980.  After working in the juvenile justice system for one year Donnie moved to Texas where he attended the University of Texas at Austin and obtained his Master of Science degree in Social Work in 1985. 

    Donnie’s professional career has included work in the public and private sector in child welfare as a case manager and counselor for eleven years in child protective services and adoptions in Riverside and Los Angeles, California.  After relocating back to Muskegon, Don worked in the public school system as a special education social worker and counselor for twenty years before joining the Behavioral Health Department team at Muskegon Family Care where he currently works as a Behavioral Therapist.  Donnie is married to Debra and they have four wonderful children, Chasity, twins Marcus and Akisha, and Jasmin.  Chasity and her husband have blessed Donnie and Debra with three grandchildren, twins Dimitrius and Jada and the baby girl, Madison.

  • Eve L., Dental Hygienist

    Eve is a graduate of Grand Valley State, and received hygienist training at Grand Rapids Community College. Eve came to Muskegon Family Care directly out of school, and also works currently in a private practice in Muskegon. She enjoys playing guitar, sewing and gardening. She has 2 children and 2 dogs. "I work with an amazing group of caring professionals, and I really enjoy seeing the families I have come to know since I've been here."


  • Heather Herman-Eskola, BSW, Social Worker

    Heather is a graduate of Grand Valley State University Bachelor's of Social Work Program. She has worked for 9 years in Maternal and Infant Health, previously for District 10 Health Department's program. She is married, with two daughters aged 8 and 5. Her hobbies include travel, shopping, playing piano and reading. "I enjoy meeting clients in their own environments, and connecting them with community resources. It's an honor to meet with brand new moms after delivery in the Birth Center."


  • Kalisha Morin, DDS, Dentist

    Dr. Morin received her Bachelor of Science from Western Michigan University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan. Kalisha was born and raised in Holland, Michigan and enjoys college and high school football (Maize-n-Blue Fan!)  Kalisha is happily married to David Morin and they have two children. Regarding her philosophy of care and interest in serving at Muskegon Family Care, Kalisha says, "I get personal satisfaction providing an essential community health service to a wonderful and diverse community! I enjoy helping people maintain and improve their oral health, quality of life and appearance!"


  • Laura Wagner, LMSW, Social Worker, MIHP Coordinator

    Laura received her Master of Social Work degree from Grand Valley State University. She has a great interest in working with mothers and infants, and her extensive knowledge of community resources is beneficial. Laura resides in Ravenna, MI with her husband and two teenagers. She enjoys reading and belongs to a 4-wheel drive group. Laura enjoys working with the Maternal Infant Health Program because she is able to help women find hope when coping with postpartum depression and understands the importance of attachment and bonding between mother and child.

    Laurie is also a graduate of Grand Rapids Community College. She was one of the original Muskegon Family Care Dental Staff, having been hired when the clinic opened in December 2000. She lives on a farm, and enjoys gardening, yard work, and playing with 2 year-old son Wyatt. Laurie is married to husband John. Some of the most rewarding parts of her work at Muskegon Family Care are, "I'm actually making somebody smile when they couldn't before. I like educating people and especially older kids and adults."

    Margaret is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Master's Degree in Nursing Science. She began working with Muskegon Family Care in 2004. She is married with two adult children and two young twins. She enjoys canoeing, volleyball and lives on a dairy farm in Casnovia. Margaret is passionate about women's healthcare and treating adult chronic illnesses like hypertension and diabetes. "I like treating the patient holistically and not just as an illness but getting to know the whole person."

  • Mary E. Tyler, LMSW, Therapist

    Mary has a background of providing care for individuals and families facing crisis.  Her work history includes eight years at Muskegon Community Mental Health, where she provided professional and personable support to those suffering from depression, anxiety, foster placement, bipolar, PTSD and other mental health challenges.  Mary was inspired to become a Mental Health Therapist due a personal experience that led her to change her major and obtain both her undergraduate and Master’s Degree later in life.  She has a passion to touch the lives of those who are hurting.   Her hope is that through therapy no person feels underappreciated, undervalued or misunderstood.   Mary specializes in helping support both adults and children who experience difficulty with behavioral or mental health challenges.   She is highly skilled with parents regarding Behavior Modification and parental support.  She also enjoys facilitating Marital and Family Therapy, providing insight and support to those facing difficulty.  In her free time Mary likes entertaining, decorating, cooking and being there for those who need to feel heard.

  • Natasha Fair, PA-C, Physician Assistant

    Natasha received her degree from Central Michigan University. She is a certified Physician Assistant and completed her clinical rotations in family practice at Grant Family Health Care and Hackley Community Care Center. In addition, Natashas experience includes training in emergency medicine, orthopedics, surgery and internal medicine. Natasha has found her experience in urban medicine to be particularly rewarding and is excited to share her professional expertise with the patients and staff of Muskegon Family Care.


  • Nicholas Novitsky, DDS, Dentist

    Dr. Nick received his undergraduate and DDS Degrees from the University of Detroit. He has 36 years of experience in private practice, hospital dentistry and community dentistry. He enjoys fishing, photography and cooking. Dr. Nick's wife, Kathy, is a Dental Assistant, and he has children Tom (an engineer), Sue (head swim coach at University of Illinois) and Alicia (high school sophomore). Dr. Nick enjoys Muskegon Family Care because "the people I work with are great!"



    NICHOLE KOSTEN, LMSW, Behavorial Health Supervisor

    Nichole received her Master of Social Work Degree from Grand Valeey State Universary in 2007.  She is passionate about working with people of all ages who are struggling with trauma, neglect, abuse, and loss; and is Certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  She has also received extensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.  Childern experiencing behavioral problems due to ADHD are also an area of interest for Nichole.

    Patrick did his under graduate studies at Michigan State University and his graduate work at Central Michigan University.  He is interested in preventive medicine and pediatrics and has experience in urgent care and acute sick visits and family medicine.  Patrick was raised in East Lansing and currently lives in Grand Rapids.  He enjoys basketball, camping, cooking and movies.  He states, "As a National Health Service Corps scholar it is my mission to serve the underserved and do my part to uplift the community".

  • Paul Schultz, PharmD., Clinical Pharmacist

    Paul is a graduate of Ferris State University, where he received his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree in 2004. Following graduation he completed his Pharmacy Practice Residency at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, MI. He has been a member of the Muskegon Family Care Team since September of 2006. Paul is the Pharmacist at the clinic's pharmacy. He also functions as the clinical pharmacist on the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, provides education for clinical staff, and performs chart reviews of patient medications to assure that patients receive appropriate medications at the lowest cost possible.

    Robyn is a Registered Dietitian who enjoys providing nutritional information one-on-one with young families in the Maternal and Infant Support Services Program. She is married, with three sons, aged 17, 15 and 11. She works closely with Muskegon County Health Department's WIC Program and is housed out of that office two days a week.

    Shelly Wiewiora is a Master’s level, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).  She earned her Master’s degree from Western Michigan University in 2005 and has been doing school and mental health counseling for over 9 years.  Shelly has worked in the human services field in various capacities for over 30 years.  Shelly is a generalist practitioner, providing therapy for a wide range of mental health issues and disorders people experience in their lives.    Shelly’s goals through therapy are to help others emotionally heal and grow, find a place of peace and acceptance, and strengthen one’s sense of self.

    Traci received her Master of Science in Nursing at Michigan State University and is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Her professional career spans over 13 years of experience in the hospital and community health center settings in Grand Rapids, White Cloud and Muskegon. Traci has a wealth of clinical knowledge and skills in primary health care. She specializes in family practice, women's health, and wound healing. In her spare time she enjoys boating, skiing, horseback riding and watching her kids play hockey. She has three children and currently resides in Muskegon. Traci strongly believes in education, collaborative teamwork and a proactive approach in the delivery of quality patient care. She enjoys working with a diverse population and any age group in a community-based setting.
